A wonderful weekend of music and verse from the central Queensland region was shared in the ambience of picturesque Camerons Pocket, 70 km north of Mackay.
Springfest is the smaller, more intimate of our two festivals, bringing together families and friends for an abundance of relaxation and good times amongst like-minded folk.
This year’s event received some negative publicity about unruly teenagers. Organisers recognise that unacceptable behaviour is not in the spirit of this type of event and are taking steps to ensure future festivals will be free of these distractions.
Look forward to the next Springfest at a date to be fixed in late September or early October where you can camp on site and bring your swimmers for a dip in crystal clear St Helen's Creek.
