Songwriting competition

Bring your best song and enter the songwriting competition.

If you're successful, not only will you win a cash prize but your song will be performed on the main stage. You can perform it or nominate another performer or group.

Your song should fit into the 'world music' genre but otherwise it's pretty much what you think is going to wow the judges.

Judges are generally musicians with some professional experience and have included Graeme Connors in the past.

Prize money will be announced at the festival.
